Who we are

EarnBitcoin.guide operates this website at earnbitcoin.guide. For data-protection purposes we are the controller of any personal data described below. Contact: editor@earnbitcoin.guide.

We do not operate a newsletter, a comment system or any form that submits personal data.

Email correspondence. If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it to reply and, where you have sent a correction, to verify and action it.

Server logs. Like every website, our hosting infrastructure records technical information about requests — IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and a timestamp. This is used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults.

Aggregate analytics. Where analytics are enabled, we look at page views, referring sites and country-level geography in aggregate, to understand which research is useful and where pages are broken. We do not use this to build profiles of individuals.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not operate behavioural advertising networks on this site. We do not require an account, a login or a subscription to read anything here. We do not run trackers whose purpose is to follow you across other websites.

We also do not collect financial information of any kind. We never ask for wallet addresses, private keys, seed phrases, exchange credentials or payment details. No legitimate research site will ever ask you for any of those, and anyone who does is attempting to defraud you.

Cookies

This is a static website and we do not set cookies for advertising, personalisation or cross-site tracking. Any cookies present are strictly functional or, where analytics are in use, limited to measurement.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time without affecting your ability to read anything on this site — nothing here requires them.

Outbound links

This site links to external websites, including platforms we review and regulators we cite. Some outbound links are commercial partnerships, marked with a sponsored attribute; all external links carry a nofollow attribute.

When you follow a link to a third-party site, that site's own privacy policy applies and ours does not. Where a link is a commercial partnership, the destination may record that you arrived from here — typically through a referral parameter — so that a referral can be attributed. That is a standard affiliate mechanism and we do not receive personal data about you as a result of it.

We have no control over third-party sites and are not responsible for their practices. We would encourage you to read the privacy policy of any platform before opening an account with it.

Legal basis and retention

Where data-protection law such as the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR applies, our legal bases are legitimate interests — operating and securing the website, responding to correspondence, and understanding aggregate usage — and, where required for non-essential measurement, consent.

Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to keep a record of corrections, then deleted. Server logs are retained for a short period for security and diagnostic purposes. Aggregate analytics data contains no directly identifying information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive a copy in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email editor@earnbitcoin.guide. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. In practice, the only personal data we are likely to hold about you is an email exchange, and we will delete it on request without asking why.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area and you believe we have handled your data improperly, you have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

Our hosting and any analytics provider may process technical data outside your country, including in the United States. Where such transfers involve personal data covered by UK or EU data-protection law, they are made using the safeguards those laws require.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in how the site operates or in applicable law. Material changes will be reflected on this page. This version was last reviewed on .
